This collection of studies was written in response to the coronavirus pandemic of 2020. With the UK's schools temporarily closed and many group music activities suspended, the aim of this book of pieces is to provide some new material for brass students at times when they are unable to have regular contact with their teachers. 8 Emoji, is a set of short progressive studies, in a variety of fun styles, aimed to encourage young brass instrumentalists to play for enjoyment and undertake some personal practice during these uncertain times.
Every piece has been designed to fit onto one page and be clear to read, either in print or on a tablet or computer screen. Each page also contains lots of extra information explaining some of the most common questions students ask in lessons. These Studies also come with a downloadable set of eight demonstration MP3 tracks, to give students some help in understanding the styles and enable them to work independently at home.
Stay safe and well everyone.
