Based in the UK, Nefarious Music Publications offers a varied range of original compositions and popular arrangements for woodwind and brass instrumentalists.

All our scores are carefully prepared with meticulous attention to detail and our titles aimed at performers taking their first steps in music making, are produced to the same high standards as our works for professional ensembles. We pride ourselves on providing clearly set out scores and parts to make the rehearsal process as enjoyable as possible. We aim to give musicians works which are both challenging and fun to play, ranging from school bands up to more accomplished and professional ensembles and our assortment of titles should appeal to both performers and audiences alike.

Our writers have extensive knowledge of orchestral, big band, symphonic wind orchestra, brass band & chamber ensembles, and a wealth of professional performance and music education experience in the classical and jazz worlds.

We can also offer bespoke composition and arrangement services for less-common instrumental combinations or for standard ensembles who would like something unique written for them.

E-editions

All of our titles are available as digital downloads (PDF). More and more customers are choosing to instantly download their sheet music purchases for home printing or viewing on digital devices, rather than waiting for them to arrive through the post. With the growing popularity of E-books, digital music & video content and other downloadable products becoming more evident, we have become a primarily digital supplier.

Once purchased, you will be given a link to unlock the download and receive your zip file containing the score and parts for you to print. This link will be displayed once you have completed the checkout process. You will also receive in a confirmation email with your order details and containing the link to download your product within a few minutes of placing your order. Do check your email application's spam filter hasn't moved it to your junk mail folder.

Links will expire 24 hours from the time you first access the files.

Please note: Sheet music can use up more ink than printing standard documents so please make sure you have sufficient ink in your printer when purchasing E-editions.

file formats

Digital downloads that can be viewed and printed, are available as PDF files. Most of our products will contain several different files (for example, a full score and a set of instrumental parts) that we have combined into a zip file. Once downloaded, you can unzip your purchase to retrieve the individual PDFs for viewing and printing.

All our E-editions are formatted to print to standard A4 size although you may have to set your printer to “scale to fit” to ensure optimum results. We have included the front cover art with the score. If you wish to save ink print the score file from page 2.

If you experience problems retrieving your files or are having problems with printing, please get in touch via the contact form. If you feel it would be easier to speak to someone in person, please leave a name & contact phone number in your email to us and we will endeavour to call you back as soon as possible.

For customer privacy reasons , any correspondence emails to nefarious music will be deleted once issues have been resolved.

While we willingly accept returns on any hard copy products that customers are unhappy with, the digital sheet music files supplied by NMP are regarded as services for the purposes of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. Because of the nature of the Services offered on nefariousmuisc.com, when you purchase E-editions you agree to waive the right of return or cancellation concerning:

The supply of Services which you have already started to download.
The supply of goods which cannot be returned because of their nature.
The supply of software you downloaded prior to the commencement of a Download (or acquisition of any goods).

Music Purchased from nefariousmusic.com in digital format is subject to the same copyright laws as the physical sheet music. E-editions are still just as much the composer’s intellectual property as the hard copies of the sheet music.
Digital downloads of our publications are intended for your own use and the use of your ensembles and must not be duplicated, copied or passed to anyone else. You may print the music out as required, or use it on an electronic device, but it is intended only for your own use. We accept that in the case of larger ensembles, sometimes it is necessary to print off duplicates of some parts (for example, if several players are sharing one part in a school band) and buying music in digital format gives you the ability to reprint any lost parts. We are happy for you to do this so long as the music not distributed outside of the ensembles for which it was purchased.
